New Delhi: Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar says he felt "joyous" while unveiling a poetry book penned by his great-grandfather Muztar Khairabadi.

The event, which took place in the national capital, saw the presence of Vice President Hamid Ansari.

The five volume book set, titled "Khirman", is the result of family's decade-long in compiling Muztar poetry.

"Joyous to have been part of releasing 'Khirman', a 5 volume set of poetry by my great-grandfather Muztar Khairabadi.

"Gratitude to all guests in attendance at the 'Khirman' book launch and in particular to our Respected Vice President. Shri Hamid Ansari," Farhan posted on Twitter.
The 41-year-old "Dil Dhadakne Do" actor's father Javed had said recently that during this process of his research he discovered that the Ghazal "Na kisi ki ankh ka noor hu, naa kisi ke dil ka qaraar hu" was Muztar's creation.
