Mumbai: After directing Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Veer Zaara’, magic weaver Yash Chopra is all set to return from his five-year hiatus this time with none other than fabled hunk Aamir Khan. With son Aditya churning one flop after the other, it now seems that Yash Chopra has decided to intervene and bring out the much-hyped banner from the deadly gloom.

According to the latest Bollywood news, Yash Chopra told close pals that he has signed Aamir Khan for his next directorial venture. The taskmaster had directed the perfectionist Khan in ‘Parampara’ in 1992 and had later approached him for ‘Darr’. But after Aamir refused, Chopra had signed SRK for the same.

Confirming the news, a source told a news daily, "Chopra has been working on a number of scripts but now has his heart set on one recently. He thinks Aamir is perfect for the part. He has approached the actor and will soon meet him."

Though there were reports of strained relations between Aamir and the banner, the association between the two improved after ‘Fanaa’. The source further adds, "There is urgency in the YRF clan to make big films with established stars. Chopra wants to start his film by early 2010 and release it by the end of the year".

Well, we sure are looking forward to this one!
