Salman Khan to play Krishna for Akshay Kumar

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar can now heave a sigh of relief for his dilemma has found an easy solution. The hunk of an actor, who was contemplating having either of Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan on board for his home production ‘Oh My God’ can take his project further, for he has found his leading actor.

Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan has nodded in agreement to Akki’s project. Talking to a daily, a source said that the flamboyant star is quite keen to play the role of Lord Krishna in the film and will reportedly join Akshay once he finishes shooting for the sequel to his 2010 blockbuster ‘Dabangg’.

The film will be an adaptation of veteran actor Paresh Rawal’s Hindi play ‘Krishna v/s Kanhaiya’.

Director Ashvini Yardi would not make certain alterations to the script so that it befits Salman’s personality and style.

Now has Salman averted a clash with SRK by agreeing to do the film much before his rival could even think of…is something for us to wait and watch!
