Mid 2011 will see two Big B releases

Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is looking forward to two releases in mid 2011, which he says will see him essaying very different roles.

Big B`s home production `Bbuddah` directed by Puri Jagannath will hit the screens on July 1 while Prakash Jha`s `Aarakshan` will release on August 12.

The 68-year-old actor said `Bbuddah` even though started its shoot after `Aarakshan` was over and finished before. And..now it is set to be released before `Aarakshan` too.

"Bbuddah on July 1st, Aarakshan on August 12, my Mother`s birthday ! Two films after a long gap and two very different roles and films," Bachchan wrote on his blog.

He said `Bbuddah` was a dramatic, fun, film. While Aarakshan more intense, topical, and edgy. "Very sincere and touching, on a topic and subject which many talk of behind closed doors but never outside," the megastar said.

`Bbuddah` stars Big B with Hema Malini, Raveena Tandon and Sonu Sood while `Aakarashan` will see the actor teaming up for the first time with Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Bachchan`s last releases were Aladin, Teen Patti and Paa, for which he won the National award.
