New Delhi: Yesteryear superstar Govinda would have never really thought that time would fly at such a jet speed that he will be offered to play Alia Bhatt`s dad in a film. Well, if reports are to be believed, then Govinda has turned down a Vikas Bahl film where he was required to play father to the young and cool Alia Bhatt.
The grapevine is abuzz with the rumour that comedian-actor even asked for a hefty sum to play the 21-year-old actress` father on screen. However, certain reports also suggest that Govinda refused the film because he had prior commitments and could not accommodate his dates for the movie.
The film in question stars Shahid Kapoor besides Alia and will be helmed by `Queen` fame director Vikas Bahl. No formal announcement has made by the maker or the actor on this.
