Mumbai: So far Gulshan Deviah has etched out only negative characters on the big screen and for the first time he will be seen in the lead in Pooja Bhatt`s production venture `Cabaret`. He feels that it is his toughest role so far.
"I am playing the lead in `Cabaret` and this is one of the most challenging and difficult roles of my life. (But) I am confident of the film as Pooja has shown immense faith in me. The film will go on floors by November," Gulshan said.
Delhi-based ad filmmaker Kaustav Narayan will go behind the camera to direct the film, his first.
Seen in `Shaitan`, `Hate Story`, and `Dum Maaro Dum`, Gulshan has signed two films with Pooja.
"Yes, I have signed two films with Pooja Bhatt. One is `Cabaret` and I am not allowed to talk about my next film. The second film is yet untitled."
Meanwhile, the actor will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s `Ram Leela`, which releases Nov 15.
