London: Bollywood actress Geeta Basra has revealed that she is proud of her Portsmouth roots and whenever she has time, she comes back to serve customers in her parents` newsagents.
The 30-year-old actress, who has starred in three major films since moving to Mumbai, said that she thinks nothing of lending a hand at her parents` Stop and Go corner shop and as she was born and bred in Portsmouth and went to school there and it will always be her home, reportedly.
Basra, who gave up her plans to become a criminal psychologist to move to Mumbai to follow in the footsteps of her Bollywood idol actress Madhuri Dixit, added that she is proud to be from Portsmouth and love this city and that it`s a lot more calm and peaceful compared to hectic Mumbai.
