Mumbai: In an interview to Zee News, Arshi Khan – the model-actress, who had claimed to have had sex with Pakistani cricketer - Shahid Afridi – has said that she is in love with the sportsman and would like to marry him.
Professing her love for Afridi, Arshi said, “Shahid Afridi se pyaar karti hu aur woh bhi karte hai.. Log humare baare mein baat karne lage, papers report karne lage. So I tweeted about it.” (I love Shahid Afridi and he too loves me. People started talking about us, papers were reporting about us.)

Arshi is eager to get hitched to Shahid, a very much married man.
She said, “Pyaar kiya toh darna kya.. Pakistan ke papers mein toh yaha tak report kiya gaya hai ki Arshi se woh shaadi karna chahte hai..inshaah alaha jaldi aisa hoga bhi...” (What is there to fear if you are in love. Pakistan papers have reported that Shahid wants to get married to Arshi. God willing it will happen soon).

However, according to Arshi, Shahid hasn’t contacted her.

She said, “Tweet ke baad se unse baat toh nai hui, lekin woh bhi yahi chahte hai.. Aur meri tweet ka reply abhi tak nai aaya, aayega toh sabse pehle media ko hi pata chalega..” (I haven’t been able to speak with him after I tweeted. He hasn’t responded to me tweet as yet. Whenever he does, media will be the first one to know).
She has proposed to Shahid Afridi through Zee News.
“Zee ke madhyam se main shahid ke saamne shaadi ka prastav rakhti hu..” (Through Zee, I would like to propose to Shahid Afridi for marriage.”
