New Delhi: No time to prepare elaborate dishes due to busy schedules this Diwali? Offer easy and quick to make paneer tikka or aloo vada to your stream of guests, says an expert.

Saumya Shree, food specialist, Biteclub.in, a Gurgaon-based chef designed virtual marketplace for home-styled meals, suggests a few food items that can be prepared at home easily.

* Paneer tikka: The wholesomeness of paneer satiates the palate and is healthy as well. It takes about 20 minutes to prepare the tasty delight.

* Matar chhola: The spicy dish gives one a much-needed break from the regular sweet dishes that are a must-have in any festival. Quick to make, it takes just 10 minutes to cook and at the same time is the perfect accompaniment to your laddoos and jalebis.

* Aloo vada: Stuffed with potato, the fried food item is a perfect snack to munch on. It takes not more than 30 minutes to prepare it. 

* Corn pakoda: Healthy as well as tasty, the corn pakoda is made of corn and gram flour. Ready in just 10 minutes, dig into the delicious softness of the corn pakoda along with green chutney or tangy tamarind sauce to feast your taste buds.
