New York: Singer Dolly Parton was rushed to hospital after a car crash but she was released shortly after with minor injuries.
The 67-year-old singer was taken to a local accident and emergency centre in Nashville by ambulance after the motor she was travelling in collided with another vehicle, reported Huffington Post.
The `9 to 5` hitmaker was riding in the passenger seat of her friend Judy Ogle`s Nissan Xterra when the driver of a Mitsubishi Diamante failed to stop, which led to both parties sustaining minor injuries, but requiring medical assistance.
Parton took to Twitter a few hours after the accident to assure her fans she was feeling `good` but was spending time at home as she was feeling `tired and sore`.
"I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good... Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now," Parton posted.
