Washington: Simon Cowell keeps a crate of beer in his car all the time in case he goes to a restaurant and they don`t have the brand he drinks.
The ‘American idol’ host prefers special yeast-free Sapporo beer, after he learnt brewer`s yeast made him sluggish through a food intolerance test.
"I`ve got a crate of it in the back of the car. Literally," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
On being asked why he didn’t feature on advertising posters for his shows, `The X Factor` and `American Idol`, he replied: "Have I got grey hair? If I have they weren`t there six months ago. And if I have got grey hair I`m not going to be on any billboards."
