Blake Shelton wants young people to form own opinions about America

Washington: Blake Shelton's most recent Twitter rant has gone viral where he has encouraged young people to form their own opinions about America and other countries carefully.

The country star and coach on 'The Voice' posted a series of tweets about the misguided power of celebrities to influence public opinion and how the various media outlets slant the news to garner ratings and more, Fox News reported.

In one of the tweets, the 'Sangria' hitmaker said, "To all you young people out there. Make up your own minds about this country and the rest of the world. Listen, read, watch and decide."

The American country musician's tweets have been shared more than 15,000 times.
