Los Angeles: The first official trailer for Barry Levinson's drama comedy "Rock the Kasbah" has arrived.

Starring Bill Murray, the film offers ridiculous comedy which is mostly set in Afghanistan.

Murray, 64, portrays Richie Lanz, a washed-up rock manager who takes his last remaining client (Zooey Deschanel) on a USO tour of Afghanistan.

In Afghanistan, Lanz finds himself stranded all alone after his client steals his money and passport.

Bill Block, CEO of QED, assures fans that "Rock the Kasbah" will be an outstanding comedy.

"With its brilliant script, superb cast and Barry Levinson at the helm, 'Rock the Kasbah' promises to be a true comedy event on a global scale," he added.

In the upcoming film, Murray leads the cast which includes Kate Hudson, Danny McBride, Scott Caan and Bruce Willis.

"Rock the Kasbah" is slated to hit theatres on October 23.
