Melbourne, Sept 15: An Australia woman celebrated her 108th birthday and is still raring to go, as she can still boast of an enviable social life.
Nellie Bowley, who was born in 1900, is living at the Kadimah Nursing Home, after she could not bare the cold at her own home.
Although she suffers with hearing problem, the staff at the nursing home appreciates her zest for life and mentions that she is still enjoying it to the fullest.
"It`s wonderful when you sit there and ask her about things that to me and you, they are history. But she lived it, and she`s still got an incredible recollection of things," a news website quoted administrative manager Ms Tattam, as telling AAP.
"She`s still got quality of life, she`s in a nursing home, but the quality is still there,” she added.
The staff also revealed that she has a wicked sense of humour and an appreciable memory.
"She`ll still be here, I think, at 110." Tattam said.
