NEET UG 2023: Delhi police arrested a gang on Tuesday for impersonating actual applicants during exams.

New Delhi: The Delhi Police detained a NEET exam gang that wrote exams in place of actual students. An AIIMS student was also detained. According to a top officer of the Delhi Police, more arrests are on the way. So far, Delhi police have detained two of the suspects.

As of now, the Delhi police have detained four members of the gang: Sanju Yadav, Mahavir and Jitendra, as well as Naresh Bishroi. Sanju Yadav is said to be a first-year Radiology student at AIIMS Delhi who was arrested while taking an admission exam for a client. Mahavir and Jitendra, both AIIMS Delhi students, were reportedly arrested in Nagpur. The police reportedly seized their phones and laptops. 

According to sources, after the interrogation, Bishroi admitted to accepting Rs 7 lakh from the examiners for duping. The inquiry is still ongoing as investigators strive to determine whether there are any more students involved in this racket.
