Chandigarh: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said while the Congress, INLD and the BJP regimes had failed to perform in Haryana, his AAP government had brought "revolutionary" changes in the national capital.
Speaking here on the state's foundation day, being celebrated as 'Haryana Diwas', Kejriwal said every section of the society in the state was unhappy with the Congress, the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who have ruled the state for over 50 years now.
"Today is November 1 which is observed as 'Haryana Divas'... 52 years have passed since the formation of Haryana but still the requirements and expectations of people remain unfulfilled," the Delhi chief minister told the media.
He said every section of the society in Haryana was unhappy with the political parties which have been in power in the state for over 50 years.
"Farmers are unhappy as they are not getting compensation for their damaged crops, they are not getting remunerative prices for their crops, youths are disappointed, schools, hospitals are in dilapidated condition. Haryana is in ruins and all the political parties are guilty for this," claimed Kejriwal.
The Delhi chief minister alleged that under the erstwhile INLD government, the state's law and order went for a toss while Congress regime was no better and indulged in land grabbing and corruption.
"Now the BJP government is known as 'Khattara' (ineffective) government," he said taking a jibe at chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Kejriwal also accused all the three parties of diving the state on caste lines by either wooing Jats or non Jats.
"Till now INLD and Congress were seeking votes from Jats and BJP from non jats. Not even a single party had sought votes for providing good education and hospital services, better infrastructure and power," he claimed.
The Delhi CM said his government had brought "revolutionary" changes in Delhi which even his political opponents have acknowledged.
"We have improved the condition of government schools and hospitals in Delhi, besides providing water, power services and generating employment etc," he said, appealing to the people to decide whether they want to vote for temple or mosque or for those who provide good schools and hospitals.
On the Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal issue, Kejriwal said his party will abide by what the Supreme Court decides as he slammed the BJP and the Congress of failing to resolve the contentious issue despite having governments in Punjab, Haryana and Centre.
