Your teachers or gurus spent that extra hour on you so that you excel in life and yes if not everyday at least today is the time to give it back in your own sweet way. The Guru Dakshina can be a simple 'thank you' or an elaborate gift—whatever be it, the feeling is what matters the most.

In India, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was the first Vice President and the second President of the country (1962-1967).
