Bangladesh pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman recorded his second five-wicket haul in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against Pakistan in match 43 of the tournament at Lord's London on Friday. 

Mustafizur had first achieved the feat against India, further achieving the tally against Pakistan accounting for the dismissals of Imam-ul-Haq, Haris Sohail, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan and Mohammad Amir. 

Pakistan posted a total of 315 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 50 overs, resulting in a target of 316 for Bangladesh. 

Pakistan pace-bowler Shaheen Afridi made his presence felt at this stage registering his maiden five-wicket haul in the tournament. Afridi accounted for the dismissals of Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Liton Das, Mahmudullah, Mohammad Saifuddin and Mustafizur Rahman finishing with figures of 6/35. 

Bangladesh were bowled out for 221 runs in 44.1 overs, with Pakistan finishing their ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 on a high.

Australian pace spearhead Mitchell Starc became the first bowler to bag a five-wicket haul in the 2019 edition of the ICC World Cup. The second bowler to claim a five-wicket haul in the Cricket World Cup 2019 was New Zealand's James Neesham who achieved the feat during the match against Afghanistan at County Ground, Taunton.

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir was the third player to dismiss five batsmen in an innings in the ongoing World Cup. Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was the fourth player to complete a five-wicket haul in a World Cup 2019 match. Shakib managed to claim five wickets in the match against Afghanistan by dismissing Rahmat Shah, Gulbadin Naib, Mohammad Nabi, Asghar Afghan and Najibullah Zadran.

Australian pacer Jason Behendroff became the fifth player to complete a five-wicket haul in the ICC World Cup 2019 against hosts England. Starc completed a five-wicket haul for the second time in the tournament against New Zealand when he dismissed Kane Williamson, Tom Latham, Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi and Lockie Ferguson. 

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami became the sixth player to register a five-wicket haul in the tournament after achieving the tally against England in a must-win clash for the latter.

Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman became the seventh player to register a five-wicket haul in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 after achieving the feat against India. He further followed it up with a five-wicket haul against Pakistan. 

Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi became the youngest cricketer to pick a five-wicket haul in the ICC Cricket World Cup after achieving the feat against Bangladesh on Friday.
