West Indies vs India: MS Dhoni files complaint with BCCI regarding delayed start in 2nd T20I

New Delhi: India's limited-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has filed a complaint with Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) regarding the delayed start in the 2nd T20I recently played between India and West Indies.

According to a report in Firstpost, Dhoni said that the match should have started on time as glitch in satellite signals is not something due to which a match can be delayed as per the guidelines issued by International Cricket Council (ICC).

The second match was a do-or-die game for MS Dhoni and his men after losing the first match by just one run.

But, in a bizarre incident, the match which was scheduled to start at 7:30 pm IST, started at 8:10 pm IST due to a technical glitch.

The broadcasters suffered an "unavoidable" and "technical" problem as a result of which 40 minutes were wasted.

When play resumed, India bowled out Windies for 143. The Men in Blue looked all set to level series after a good bowling show, before there was a severe downpour two overs into India's run-chase

Trailing 0-1 in the two-match series, it was a do-or-die match for MS Dhoni and his men as they took the guard at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill.
