The 27 year old has been handed the Test captaincy, after MS Dhoni retired from Test cricket. Now, the pressure on the Delhi boy to perform in both batting and lead the team as captian.

The Test record for Indian team in home conditions is pretty satisfying but you don't want to take New Zealand very lightly. Kiwis have brought in Mitchell Santner, Ish Sodhi and Mark Craig as there 3 specialist spinners for the Test series against India.
The first match is to be played at Kanpur which starts from Thursday.
