IPL 2017 Auction: The five biggest earners of 10th edition of Indian Premier League

The English all-rounder went for a whooping Rs 14.5 crore to Rising Pune Supergiants, making him the costliest overseas player in IPL history and the second most overall after Yuvraj Singh who was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 16 crore in 2015.

The second highest earner of the day, Mill was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 12 crore as the team looked to replace frontline seamer Mitchell Starc, who parted ways with the franchise and indeed the cash-rich league on Sunday.

The South African speedster cost Delhi Daredevils Rs. 5 crore and will be a valuable addition tot he Delhi outfit who already have some of the top Indian seamers in the form of Mohammed Shami and Zaheer Khan.

After being released by Sunrisers Hyderabad, the New Zealander bagged an impressive deal with Kolkata Knight Riders, bagging a Rs 5 corore contract. KKR were desperately in need of an oversees fast bowler and would have happy to have got their man.

The former KKR fast bowler was snapped up by Delhi Daredevils for Rs. 4.5 crore. It will be interesting to see how he forms a partnership with Rabada. Delhi, arguably, look to have formed a formidable pace attack in their squad this season.
