Indian cricket team's complete schedule in 2017

India will begin 2017 with a limited-overs series against England, who went for a Christmas break after losing the recently concluded five-match series 0-4. The two teams will play 3 ODIs and as many T20Is. ODI series will be played from 15 January to 22 January. It will be followed by the T20I series, which will be played from 26 January to 1st February.

In the month of February, India will host one-off Test against Bangladesh, which is scheduled to start from 8 February at Hyderabad.

India will face tough challenge when they face mighty Australians in the month of March - where the two teams will play a 4-match Test series in Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is scheduled to begin from 23 February. The first Test will be played at Pune, while the last and fourth Test match of the series will be played from 25-29th March.

Indian cricketers will take a break from international cricket to play in the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). As per the tentative plan, the cash-rich tournament will be played from April 5 to May21.

Men in Blue will fight for the top spot in the year's biggest tournament as they are the defending champions as well. In the League stage, India will play three matches:

1st Match: India vs Pakistan on 4 June

2nd Match: India vs Sri Lanka on 8 June

3rd Match: India vs South Africa on 11 June.

And on the basis of these results they will play semi-final and final in later stages.

In the month of July, India will travel to Caribbean to play 5 ODIs and 1T20I. Dates and venues for the matches are yet to be announced.

After their tour in Caribbean, India team is scheduled to visit another sub-continent - Sri Lanka - to play 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and 1 T20. The announcement regarding the dates and venues of the matches is yet to come.

After the Test series against India in the beginning of the year, the Australian team will return to India in the month of October for a limited-overs series. Both the teams will play 5 ODIs and 1 T20. The dates and venues of this series are yet to be announced.

India will end their 2017 season with a long tour to South Africa, where they are scheduled to play 4 Test, 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is. The tour is expected to continue till January 2018. However, the dates and venues of the series are yet to be finalised.
