SHOCKING: No AB de Villiers, Wasim Akram, Glenn McGrath, Virat Kohli in Brendon McCullum's all time XI?

New Delhi: Former New Zealand cricketer Brendon McCullum announced his all-time playing XI, which included some of the best names in international cricket.

In a video released by Lord’s Cricket Ground's YouTube channel, the former Kiwi skipper picked four Australians, three West Indians, two Kiwis, one Indian and one South African.

While McCullum appointed West Indian legend Viv Richards as the skipper of the team, Adam Gilchrist was his choice for wicketkeeper.

The legendary troika of Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting and Brian Lara formed the batting backbone of the side.

However, Chris Gayle's inclusion comes as a surprise, considering the big-hitting Jamaican's consistency is nowhere close to AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.

There was no place for India's limitd-overs skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni in Baz's team as well.

While Mitchell Johnson, Trent Boult and Tim Southee were the three pacers picked by McCullum, Wasim Akram, Glenn McGrath, Muttiah Muralitharan and Dale Steyn failed to get a place in the team.
