Hello and welcome to the live coverage of match number 29 of IPL 2020 between SunRisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings which is all set to begin shortly at the Dubai International Stadium on Tuesday (October 13).

Chennai Super Kings have beaten SunRisers Hyderabad by 20 runs.

CSK have posted a competitive 167-4 against SRH.

CSK have won the toss and opted to bat first against SunRisers Hyderabad.

Both teams have already played each other in this edition, where SRH was victorious by a narrow margin of 7 runs.

Since then, CSK have waned further due to some dismal batting performances and currently sit at a lowly seventh spot in the points table - with a disappointing five losses from their seven games.

The firepower in their ranks has disappointed so far with the likes of Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, Kedar Jadhav and captain cool MS Dhoni himself being utter failures with the bat.

SRH too have been mediocre at best with the bat so far but have still fared better than CSK. They occupy the fifth spot in the points table with three wins and four losses.

The side led by their charismatic skipper David Warner would be dejected after losing out their last game against Rajasthan Royals from a winning position. Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag completed a dramatic turnaround for Rajasthan.

SRH have blown hot and cold so far in the competition. They are desperately lacking a big-hitter at the death with the entire responsibility for the same falling on the shoulders of Kane Williamson.

They would perhaps be thinking about bringing in Jason Holder into the squad for the power-hitting role.

SRH can still draw satisfaction from their bowling department – led by the wily Rashid Khan, they are capable of defending any total.

Thus, SRH with their strong bowling attack will start as favourites in this one against CSK – who have been inept with the bat so far.

13 October 2020, 22:27 PM

13 October 2020, 22:22 PM

13 October 2020, 22:14 PM

Good from Bairstow and Williamson. This is a crucial stand for them. They need to take it as deep as possible - there's not much recognised batting for them after this. They are currently going at run a ball. SRH: 57/2 (9 Overs)

13 October 2020, 22:05 PM

Kane Williamson and Jonny Bairstow are trying to steady the ship here. They have a huge task ahead of them and they need to take this deep. They need to settle-in quickly and then go for the big hits. SRH: 46/2 (7 Overs)

13 October 2020, 22:01 PM

13 October 2020, 21:53 PM

13 October 2020, 21:38 PM

Steady start by the SRH duo. They need to stick around as SRH tend to struggle without them later on. Chahar bowls a good first over but Bairstow hits the first boundary of SRH innings in his compatriot Sam Curran's second over. SRH: 10/0 (2 Overs)

13 October 2020, 21:30 PM

David Warner and Jonny Bairstow will open SunRisers Hyderabad innings against Chennai Super Kings' Deepak Chahar. SRH: 0/0 (0 Overs)

13 October 2020, 21:24 PM

13 October 2020, 21:15 PM

CSK have posted a competitive total of 167-6 against SunRisers Hyderabad. Just when it looked like that SRH had pulled it back, Jadeja manages 15 runs of Khaleel's final over to take them to a very good total on this slow track. Dwayne Bravo was bowled by Khaleel for a golden duck on the first ball of the final over. CSK: 167-6 (20 Overs)

13 October 2020, 21:07 PM

OUT!! WICKET!! MS Dhoni is gone. He had just hit a mammoth 102 metre six against Natarajan but the bowler makes a fantastic comeback by bowling a wide yorker. Dhoni tried to scoop it over the off-side but hands a easy catch to Williamson at extra-cover. CSK: 152/5 (19 Overs)

13 October 2020, 21:00 PM

Sandeep Sharma almost dismisses Dhoni caught and bowled with an astonishing acrobatic effort but the ball slips out of his hands just at the last moment. He falls awkwardly and SRH players have their hearts in the mouths but he is fine, jut taking a blow on his ribs. CSK need a big finish. Dhoni is looking in good touch today. CSK: 138/4 (18 Overs)

13 October 2020, 20:55 PM

13 October 2020, 20:51 PM

OUT!! WICKET!! Shane Watson is now dismissed by Natarajan. This is almost the same dismissal as of Rayudu's. It was a pacy full toss but Watson fails to get hold of it. Pandey takes a brilliant running catch at long-off. Good comeback from SRH. CSK: 129/4 (17 Overs)

13 October 2020, 20:46 PM

OUT!! WICKET!! Ambati Rayudu is gone. He is dismissed by Khaleel Ahmed and David Warner takes a good catch at long-off. Rayudu tried to go inside-out against Khaleel but it's a well directed ball and Rayudu miscues his timing. Dhoni is the new man in. CSK: 119/3 (16 Overs)

13 October 2020, 20:45 PM

13 October 2020, 20:36 PM

CSK's decision to bat first is proving unerring. The partnership is already of 67 runs now. Wonderful batting as the duo pick-up 10 runs from the 14th over. Now they have to start with the big hits. CSK: 102/2 (14 Overs)

13 October 2020, 20:35 PM

13 October 2020, 20:26 PM

Very good from the CSK duo. They are now taking the attack to the opposition. Very good intent from them. Watson seemed to have been caught at long-on off Nadeem by Pandey but the ball had just bumped on the surface before Pandey got hold of the ball. Rayudu then hits a huge six off the very next ball to give a befitting reply. CSK: 84/2 (12 Overs)

13 October 2020, 20:16 PM

Very steady from Rayudu and Watson. They are not taking any unncessary risks. They do well to play out Rashid Khan's opening over. Watson though is making sure that their side hit atleast one boundary in each over. CSK: 64/2 (9 Overs)

13 October 2020, 19:59 PM

OUT!! WICKET!! Sam Curran is bowled by Sandeep Sharma. Sharma has his second. He has dismissed both openers. Sharma came in around the wicket and Curran didn't pick the line of the ball and his stumps are disturbed. CSK: 44/2 (6 Overs)

13 October 2020, 19:53 PM

Sam Curran is on fire right now. The decision to send him as the pinch-hitter is working for CSK. He hits two fours and two sixes of Khaleel's second over. Khaleel kept bowling short and paid the price. 22 from that over. CSK: 34/1 (4 Overs)

13 October 2020, 19:48 PM

13 October 2020, 19:43 PM

OUT!! HUGE WICKET!! Faf du Plessis is out for a golden duck. He is dismissed by Sandeep Sharma caught behind. He hadn't faced a single balls in the first two overs and maybe lost his concentration. It was a beautiful  in-swinger that did du Plessis. He played for the straighter-one and only manages a thick edge straight to keeper Bairstow. CSK: 12/1 (3 Overs)

13 October 2020, 19:39 PM

Steady start from CSK or shall we say Sam Curran. In the first two overs, Faf du Plessis is yet to face a single ball. Good start from SRH bowlers Sandeep Sharma and Khaleel Ahmed as well. CSK: 10/0 (2 Overs)

13 October 2020, 19:31 PM

Faf du Plessis and Sam Curran will open Chennai Super Kings' innings. Sandeep Sharma to start the bowling attack for SunRisers Hyderabad. CSK: 0/0 (0 Overs)
