Ashwin and Bhuvneshwar bagged 2 wickets each, while Deepak Chahar and Mohammed Siraj picked one wicket each as India restricted New Zealand to 164/6 in the allotted 20 overs. For the Kiwis, Martin Guptill and Mark Chapman were the stand-out performers in the batting department as they scored 70 and 63 respectively.
