IND vs NZ 1st ODI: Team India have been thumped!
A lot to ponder about for Team India.
Need to rethink about the approach in the ODIs with the bat. Think India were too slow with the start and then the openers failed to convert fifties into 100s. Had Sundar not played a brilliant knock, India might have fallen short by 30 runs.
NZ were dominant with bat. Brilliant knock from Latham who bossed it at Auckland tonight. Williamson looked assured as ever. Team India bowling unit lacked experience and it was telling. Not their fault, this was a young squad.
Team India need to regroup and come stronger in the 2nd ODI in Sunday.
