India vs West Indies 1st Test, Day 3: Both India openers score tons in away Test for 6th time
For the sixth time, both Indian openers registered a century in an away Test (same innings). The other five instances are Vijay Merchant and Mushtaq Ali against England in Manchester in 1936, Gavaskar and Kris Srikkanth against Australia in Sydney in 1986, Sehwag and Dravid against Pakistan in Lahore in 2006, Wasim Jaffer and Dinesh Karthik against Bangladesh in Mirpur in 2007, and Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan against Bangladesh in Fatullah in 2015.
Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 103 while Yashasvi Jaiswal is batting on 143 at stumps on Day 2 in 1st Test vs West Indies in Dominica.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a century on debut and batted throughout Day 2 of the 1st Test vs West Indies to remain unbeaten on 143 at stumps. "I think this is one of the emotional knock for me, it's difficult to get opportunities in the Indian team, I would like to thank everyone, the supporters, team management and Rohit Bhai," Jaiswal said after stumps.
