6 September 2020, 21:41 PM
Wicket!! Malan is dismissed by Ashton Agar. But is it too late for Australia now ? Another fine innings from Dawid Malan. Meanwhile, Jos Buttler has completed his fifty. England 115/2 (14 overs)
6 September 2020, 21:27 PM
England are well on top here and are quickly closing-in on an emphatic series victory. The pair of Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler have completed their 50-run stand. It's only going one way at the moment. The run-rate is also climbing. England 86/1 (11 overs)

The pair of Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan are looking solid for England here. The duo are not taking unnecessary errors and are just focusing on rotating the strike. England 53/1 (8 overs)
6 September 2020, 20:58 PM
Six!! Buttler is looking good here. He dispatches the final ball of the Kane Richardson over for a maximum over mid-on. England 27/1 (4 overs)
6 September 2020, 20:56 PM
Dawid Malan is the new-man in for England. The highest scorer from the previous game will look to carry on his fine form. Kane Richardson is Finch's bowling change.
6 September 2020, 20:53 PM
Wicket!! Jonny bairstow is out hit wicket against Starc. It was a short pitched delivery outside off with Bairstow going for the pull but the batsman hits his own stumps as he swung around for the pull shot. A very peculiar dismissal. England 20/1 (3 overs)

Competetive start from both sides. Starc bowls a pacy first over and the English openers don't take any risk against him. The second over from Pat Cummins is even more lively as after getting hit for four of the penultimate delivery by Buttler, Cummins makes a strong comeback and hits Buttler on the pads. There's a loud appeal for Lbw but the umpire says no. Australia don't take a review. England 11/0 (2 overs)
6 September 2020, 20:43 PM
Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow will open the English innings, chasing Australia's total of 155. The duo will look to provide a solid start to consolidate their advantage. They will be up against Australian left-arm fast bowler Mitchell Starc.

End of Australian innings : Australia finish at 155-7 at the end of 20 overs. The visitors have managed to recover somewhat after a top-order collapse. That was an eventful final over from Archer which saw Pat Cummins pummel a four and a six of succesive deliveries after which Agar was dismissed on the penultimate delivery. Australia 155-7 (20 overs)

Jofra Archer to bowl the final over for the hosts. Australia desperately need a big-over here while Archer will look to land his yorkers and slower ones.
6 September 2020, 20:14 PM
Wicket!! Maxwell is dismissed caught behind off Jordan right after hitting the first ball for a boundary. Vice-captain Pat Cummins is the new man at the crease. Australia 132/6 (18.2 overs)
6 September 2020, 20:09 PM
Six!! On the first ball of the 18th over from Tom Curran, Maxwell finally is able to free his hands and pelts one over long-on. Both Agar and Maxwell have struggled to get going against some accurate lines from the English attack. But Curran makes a strong comeback and it's only 11 from the over. Australia 128/5 ( 18 overs)
6 September 2020, 19:55 PM
Two new batsmen at the crease. Glenn Maxwell and Ashton Agar are now on the pitch. Australia have no time for the duo to settle-in, they need fireworks straightaway from these two with just 5 overs to go. Australia 101-5 (15 overs)
6 September 2020, 19:52 PM
Wicket!! Right after Finch’s dismissal, now a well set Marcus Stoinis is dismissed. On the last ball of Rashid’s spell, Stoinis tries to guide the ball but instead hands an easy catch at slip to David Malan. It will be a cumbersome recovery for Australia now. Australia 89-5 ( 13 overs)
6 September 2020, 19:46 PM
Wicket!! This is a huge wicket for the hosts. Finch edges the ball onto his own wicket. Short delivery from Jordan but Finch drags it on to the stumps much to the delight of Jordan. Australia 79-4 (12 overs)
Chris Jordan makes the breakthrough

Six!! Finch castles Aadil Rashid straight down the ground for a maximum. Finch is playing the anchor's role here. Australia 69-3 (11 overs)
6 September 2020, 19:23 PM
Six!! Stoinis makes his intentions clear. He is never the one to shy away from playing the big shots. Morgan brings in Chris Jordan to mix things up. Jordan lands one short and Stoinis pulls it for six over square. Australia 52-3 ( 8 overs)
6 September 2020, 19:19 PM
Big Appeal for Leg before in that over. Stoinis came forward to that delivery and it looked like he middled it. But England have taken a review to get another wicket. The DRS shows that clearly the bat was involved. Poor review from the hosts. Australia 41-3 (7 overs)
6 September 2020, 19:13 PM
Marcus Stoinis is the new man at the crease for the Aussies.
6 September 2020, 19:08 PM
Wicket!! This is brillant from Eoin Morgan. Steve Smith is dismissed run out by the English skipper Morgan. Smith had already hit a four and a six of Tom Curran and went for a quick single off the final delivery but a direct hit from Morgan ends another succesful over for the hosts. England on top here. Australia 30-3 (5 overs)

Australia's batting talisman Steve Smith is now at the crease and will look to steady the ship. Archer and wood both have clocked speeds in excess of 150kph so far. Australia 20-2 (4 overs)
6 September 2020, 18:59 PM
England are all over Australia here. New man in Alex Carey tries to go over the top against Mark Wood and clear the infield but only manages an edge which is taken comfortably by wicketkeeper Jos Buttler. Australia 3-2 ( 2 overs)
6 September 2020, 18:51 PM
What an over from Jofra Archer. The pacer came all guns blazing for his first over and got the crucial early wicket of David Warner. The lanky pacer bowled over the 90mph mark throughout the over. Australia 1-1 (1 over)
6 September 2020, 18:47 PM
Wicket!! David Warner is dismissed caught behind on just the third delivery of the Australian innings. Not the start that Australia wanted. Warner took a review immediately but DRS stays with the original decision. Australia 0-1 ( 0.3 overs)
What a start! @JofraArcher
