New Delhi: Unheralded King XI Punjab pacer Sandeep Sharma on Friday rocked a star-studded Royal Challengers Bangalore batting line-up by removing possibly the three biggest names in world cricket today.
Defending a paltry total of 138, the visitors needed a good start at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. And it was provided by Sandeep, who removed Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in a dream spell.
The 23-year-old thus became the first player in the IPL history to take the wickets of the trio in a single match. His bowling figures were: 4-0-22-3.
