New Delhi: In first of the must win three matches to enter Indian Premier League playoffs, Kings XI Punjab couldn't bag more than 167 despite skipper Glenn Maxwell's 25-ball 44.

Maxwell looked to have hit the right node during an over from Kuldeep Yadav when he hit the chinaman bowler to two consecutive sixes on the first two balls, but got a little too ambitious and got dismissed while attempting the third one, following a stunning catch by Chris Woakes.
