The incident both Ishant and KXIP skipper Glenn Maxwell, who came to help him stand again after witnessing those numerous falls. Even coach Virendra Sehwag couldn't resist his laughter, having see seen the pacer's falls.

Punjab had brought in Ishant Sharma for Swapnil Singh for the match, hoping the Rs. 2 crore buy will finally bring end to his wicket-less spell but that wasn't just meant to happen.

Fifth placed Kings XI Punjab next face Rising Pune Supergiant, in a match that could seal their progression to the play offs.
