New Delhi: Former New Zealand batsman Brendon McCullum, who set the Indian Premier League (IPL) on fire with a sensational ton in the tournament's first match in 2008, was playing his 100th match of the tournament, against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

One of the most dangerous batsmen in world cricket, Baz has already entertained the fans with some big knocks for Gujarat Lions this season.

While fans had high expectations from him in this 100th match, the Kiwi batsman failed to deliver with the bat as he was dismissed for just three runs. RCB spinner Samuel Badree, who has got several early breakthroughs for his team this year, struck early once again as McCullum gave an easy catch to de Villiers in the fifth over of Lions' innings.

Despite a poor show with the willow, McCullum did give his fans something to cheer about with a stupendous fielding effort at long-on.

In the final over of RCB's innings, Sreenath Aravind hit a big stroke towards long-on, and while it looked like the ball would go all the way for a flat six, timed his jump to perfection and grabbed the catch saving six runs for his team.

Watch his effort here:

Lions won the match by seven wickets to add to Virat Kohli's woes. They are currently at sixth position in points table with three wins from eight matches.
