IPL 2017: Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – Players to watch out for!

New Delhi: In a desperate search to get back from the humiliation against Kolkata Knight Riders, Virat Kohli and his army are all geared up, this time to leave no stone unturned and bag nothing less than two points when they take on the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad at M Chinnaswamy stadium, tonight.

It was worth more than just sure humiliation when Royal Challengers Bangalore hit rock bottom on the league table after being crushed to lowest ever Indian Premier League total. Shaken to their core, Bengaluru will be desperately aiming to mend their ways back to normal. The side boasting the likes of the trio- Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle have all failed to light up the team’s energy. And then Aussie international Shane Watson has struggled both with the bat and with the ball. Adding on to their concern is their pitch. Usually favouring the player at strike, the pitch has rather turned slow, affecting their performance in the last two home games. So far, what has actually clicked for the team is their bowling.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, the defending champions, roared with pride when they grasped on to where they had left last year, but failed miserably to continue with it on away tracks. Heading in with a rather balanced side, David Warner will be aiming to add on to the concern of the Bengaluru boys.

Here are the players to look out for…

Royal Challengers Bangalore-

Yuzvendra Chahal- "He is competitive coupled with a lot of skills. I think those two qualities make a formidable combination for a spin bowler and he is positive and confident of what he is doing", feels veteran Kiwi spinner Daniel Vettori to PTI. Having scalped 10 wickets already of the seven matches played, his strength also lies in the fact that he follows the batsman amd then unleashes his technique.

Tymal Mills- Two yorkers, and then a sudden slow bouncer, could leave any internationally acclaimed batsman perplexed, but that's what his technique is. His unpredictibility is his weapon, making him a threat during the death overs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Bhuvneshwar Kumar- Hailed as one of the best T20 pacers in IPL history by spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan, Bhuvi indeed has continued to be a dominant threat to batsmen with his death-dealing swingers and not-to-forget yorkers. Currently the purple cap holder with 17 wickets his bag, the right-arm pacer is a sure piece of delight to watch, especially during the death overs.

Rashid Khan- Quicker through the air, stump to stump and last but definitely not the least, his unanticipated googlies, all add up to a lethal weapon named Rashid that the Sunrisers can proudly boast of. Having claimed 12 wickets already this season, and having turned into Warner's 'go to man', the 18-year-old is in line to compete with teammate Bhuvi for the purple cap.
