And then it is Uthappa getting a boundary as the over is proving to worth of an expense for Cummins and Daredevils. But the keeper departs shortly off the very next delivery. Shorter to the off and gets the edge to fly back to the keeper Pant as he takees it divingly.

And another off the edge off the bat as it whistled past the keeper for a four. Then comes the wicket-taking delivery. Puzzling slow delivery as Morris somehow gets a late touch and sends it staright to the fielder at short third man.

New Delhi: Live cricket score and live updates from Match 18 of the Indian Premier League between Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders. Gautam Gambhir might be the skipper of KKR, but it would be homecoming for him as his team takes on Zaheer Khan's men. Despite losing two key players in Andre Russell and Chris Lynn, KKR have dominated the proceedings for the most part of the tournament. Their only loss came against Mumbai Indians, post which they got back to winning ways with two consecutive wins over Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Gautam Gambhir has been in sublime form yet again at the top of the order and the team management might think to promote Robin Uthappa to open the innings with Gambhir. While the form of Manish Pandey and Uthappa is a good sign, Yusuf Pathan and Suryakumar Yadav are two batsmen who would be desperate to get some runs under their belt. KKR might include Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan in the playing XI today.
Daredevils, on the other hand, have made a strong start to the tournament as well. Zaheer Khan has lead the team brilliantly so far, and unlike previous seasons, DD have got off to a good start in the tournament having won two out of the three matches they have played so far.
Barring Karun Nair, most of the Delhi batsmen have been amongst the runs. The strength of the team actually lies in their bowling attack, which is one of the best in the tournament. Chris Morris, Pat Cummins and Zaheer himself form a lethal pace attack and Shahbaz Nadeem and Amit Mishra have chipped in with crucial spells.
