New Delhi: The Kolkata Knight Riders-Kings XI Punjab match at Eden Gardens on Thursday witnessed one strange proceeding.

In the penultimate over of the KXIP innings, Mohit Sharma played a Trent Boult delivery towards mid-off. Two KKR fielders chased down the ball, and the throw from the deep by Umesh Yadav hit the stumps at the striker's end.

It resulted in an overthrow, then skipper Gautam Gambir gathered the ball, and once again hit the stumps, this time at non-striker's end.

Again resulting in an overthrow.

All these while KXIP batsmen were running. and they made four.

The visitors made 170/9 in their 20 overs' play, with five of them scoring in the 20's.
