New Delhi: Celebrating the 10th edition of very successful Indian Premier League (IPL), Twitter launched bunch of player emojis on the eve of Wednesday's season opener between defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad and last year's losing finalists Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The official Twitter handle of the IPL shared a tweet wherein an elaborate description of the player emojis was given.

This is first of it's kind for any cricket tournament, and fans shown their approval of the innovation by liking the tweet.
The 2017 IPL started on Wednesday with the lung-opener in Hyderabad, and the cricket carnival will continue for another 45 days more.
The season fianle will be played on May 21 at the same venue.
