IPL 10: Rising Pune Supergiant vs Delhi Daredevils – Players to watch out for

New Delhi: The 10th season of Indian Premier League would complete a week of cricketainment when batting-heavy Rising Pune Supergiant would lock horns against the pace attack of Delhi Daredevils at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune on Tuesday.

For the Pune-based team, Steve Smith and his men would look to capitalise on Delhi's poor batting line-up to climb up the league table with a victory at home. While, the Daredevils, who ripped off the stumps in their last game with their ravishing with their bowling performance, will be looking for their first victory this season.

Here are the players to watch out for:

Rising Pune Supergiant-

Steve Smith- The skipper, currently at the peak of his form, has been an absolute wizard with the bat. He guided his team to a sensational sven wicket victory with his briliant knck of 84 in just 54 deliveries. However, he failed to provide that grip in their second match, against Kings XI Punjab and that proved to be a rather turning point for RPS. For the Daredevils pacers, he is the man to look out for.

Imran Tahir- A shock to the Gentlemen's game when the No.1 Test bowler went unsold in this year's auction. But he made a last minute entry to the Pune team and curled a whirlwind around his spin-web to dismiss batsman at a rather lethal pace. Already scalping five wickets in two matches, Tahir's googly has been a much-feared and talked about delivery this season.

Delhi Daredevils-

Rishabh Pant- Returning from his father's last rituals, the Uttarakhand-based batsman provided Delhi with that much needed grip, after wickets started falling around him in the team's opener this season. His commendable knock of 57 runs against RCB did go in vain as Bengaluru had registered a 15-run victory. But Pant drew loads of praise and applause from the cricketing legends post his performance at Bengaluru.

Chris Morris- The South African all-rounder had proved to be an important player in Delhi's topsy-turvy season last year. Scoring those runs when needed and taking wickets to break important partnerships, Morris has been the go-to-man for the Daredevils. Despite his inability to help his team out in their opening match, he still has a lot in his reserve and thus Morris will surely be the man to look out for.
