New Delhi: Ahead of their title-defense campaign, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner reveals how language can be barrier when IPL places about players from different country and background into one team.

Speaking about Bangladeshi speedster Mustafizur Rahman in an interview to cricket.com.au, the Aussie said, "The language barrier can be stretched quite a bit. I sort of started learning Bengali. For me, it was challenging on one certain specific person."

The Australian opener had no choice but to pick up the language to communicate with Mustafizur. And he felt that probably he was on the right track, until...

Sharing a rather funny incident from the previous IPL season, Warner laughed as he said, "I think one time I sort of pointed at my head saying to him, like think, use your brain, and he bowled a bouncer."

While Warner was asking Fizz to "use his brains", the left-arm pacer mistook it and delivered a bouncer, thus shattering the Aussie's hope that he had correctly picked up Bengali.

Despite the language barrier, Mustafizur indeed turned out be a lethal weapon for Warner, but the team will obviously miss him during their season opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday at Hyderabad.
