New Delhi: He is the leading the scorer in the 10th edition of IPL, and has also a proven match winner for India. But he is out the national team. His name is Gautam Gambhir.
An online campaign demanding Gambhir's inclusion #BringBackGG was started by his fans after the Kolkata Knight Riders skipper's consistent showing with the bat in the T20 tournament.
The immediate global tournament is the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy in England, which starts on May 1. India, thanks to BCCI's protracted fight with ICC over, have delayed the team announcement.
Irrespective of India taking part in the tournament, fans want Gambhir in the national team.
