New Delhi: Cricket world is no stranger to Mitchell Johnson-Virat Kohli bitter relationship. Just moments after India scripted a sensational eight-wicket victory over the Australia at Dharamsala, former Aussies pacer Mitchell Johnson took a dig at injured Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Johnson took on social media to say that Ajinkya Rahane should remain the Indian captain.
The left-arm pacer had initially tweetted congratulating the home side on their victory over and on regaining the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, but hours later came forth with another, rather sarcastic post targeting the Delhi lad.

Virat Kohli had picked up a shoulder injury while trying to stop a boundary during the third Test at Ranchi. He was immediately taken off-field for treatment and had to take a day's rest on the advice of Indian physio Patrick Farhat.
He did come out to bat during the team's second innings at crease, but injury scare still haunted him. And finally on the morning of the Dharamsala Test, it was announced that the skipper won't be part of the series finale.
Ajinkya Rahane was announced as the stand-in captain and he strategically led India to the 8-wicket victory in the decider at the HPCA stadium. His captaincy was hailed by cricketing greats like Ravi Shastri, Michael Clarke and also Kohli, but for Johnson's comment, it was more of a double-edged sword.
He tweeted saying, "Rahane should stay captain! It was a tough series but I believe it should stay on the field with the players." It doesn't stop there.
The 35-year-old had even retweeted a post from user @CricketAusFan’s tweet's, which said, "Clear difference in class. Smith apologised in the post match interview, Kohli keeps going in press conference."

This is not the first time that the Aussie has had a rather controversial opinion on the India-Australia series. Just ahead of the last match, he had tweeted saying, "With 1 test to go home side will be getting nervous."
Before that, he had written in a blog on foxsports.com.au saying that Virat Kohli was growing frustrated over his inability to contribute to the team.
