New Delhi: Indian opener Lokesh Rahul is one classic batsman. He has all the shots in the book, but one particular stroke which stands out is his straight drive.

Rahul played a sumptuous straight drive early on Day of the fourth Test against Australia at Dharamsala, which left even the pundits astounded. Batting great Sunil Gavaskar explained the shot, here:

It happened in the 21st over of the Indian innings, with Pat Cummins bowling. After four dot balls, Rahul picked the half-volley and played it with a straight bat between the bowler and the mid-on fielder. A classic shot from a gifted player.
