New Delhi: Former South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs, widely regarded as one of the most dangerous right-handed batsman to have played cricket, turned 43 today. Wishes poured in from all corners and International Cricket Council (ICC) also wished Gibbs on his big day.
In its tweet (now deleted), ICC wrote, "6, 167 Test runs, 8,94 ODI runs, 400 T20I runs. Happy Birthday to former South Africa batsman @hershybru."
There was a blunder in the tweet as ICC wrote 894 runs instead of Gibbs' tally of 8, 094 runs.
Gibbs soon replied back to ICC thanking for their wish but at the same side showed his lighter side when he tweeted, "Thanks think I might have got a few more ODI runs than that."

ICC was quick to realise its mistake and took off the tweet from its official Twitter account.
