Harbhajan Singh hits out at fan who asked him to 'have mercy on Sikhism'

New Delhi: Veteran Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh on Sunday hit out at a fan for hurting his religious sentiments.

Harbhajan, who is currently a part of Mumbai Indians squad in the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League, posted a tweet post the team's win against Delhi Daredevils.

After Mumbai registered their sixth successive win in a row, Bhajji tweeted, "SIX wins a row Wonderful performance by everyone let's keep it up @mipaltan #MIvDD @DelhiDaredevils bowlers did a good job too."

Soon after he posted the tweet, Amarjeet Singh Reen, one of Harbhajan's fan on Twitter replied "Wear this like turban in your TV programs.

Not the one to hesitate in giving a piece of his mouth, Harbhajan immediately replied, "Plz don't teach me what Sikhism is mr Amarjeet.. u don't need to tell people to do this or that."

Amarjeet later said that he didn't mean to hurt the spinner.
