April Fool’s Day! Virender Sehwag sets the Internet on fire with his US President tweet — MUST READ

New Delhi: Legions of cricket fans woke up on Saturday to find one of their favourite cricketers, Virender Sehwag emerging as a top candidate to become the next United States President, thanks to a tweet, posted by the batting great himself.

Sehwag is an icon. And that fact is an understatement. After toying with bowlers in his playing days, the 38-year-old has managed to become the undisputed Twitter king with hilarious and quick-witted comments on topics as varied as cricket and politics.

But this one tweet is a bombshell. It will give his fans existential goosebumbs.

The news report claimed that Viru “has been touring the United States frequently and the Trump administration has been in touch with him. Both current President Donald Trump and former President Barrack Obama are said to be extremely fond of him and after having seen the build-up to the previous elections, Virender Sehwag has emerged has a unanimous choice.”

Quoting antonymous sources, the report further claimed that “President Trump is expected to discuss this with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, when they meet later this year.”

Here's the 'news', read it:

But here's the catch. It should be read with caution.

As they say, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? It must be April Fool’s Day.

By the way, Sehwag is also known to be a master prankster, and he was not to miss out on April Fool's Day.

Last year, he made everyone his bunny by announcing that he was coming out of retirement.
