After Uri attack, Virender Sehwag tells his fan from Pakistan to raise voice against terrorism

New Delhi: While the outrage of Pakistani fans towards Indian sportspersons has become a common sight on social media, Twitter witnessed one of its rare moments on Monday when a Pakistani publicly expressed his respect for former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag.

Sehwag had on Sunday slammed the terror attack in Uri which claimed the lives of 18 Indian soldiers.

The former dashing opener posted two tweets after the ghastly attack, which was condemned by several Indian sportspersons.

Possibly impressed by his stand against terrorism, here's what one of the Pakistanis tweeted for Viru.

The Delhi batsman was quick to acknowledge the tweet, but also gave an advice to the fan about what should be their stand on terrorism.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the cowardly terror attack and assured the nation that those behind the act will not go unpunished.

Security has been beefed up in several parts of the country after the attack.
