New Delhi: Private carrier Jet Airways  on Wednesday introduced 65 additional frequencies on its international and domestic routes starting December.

The airline said that it has added a daily direct frequency from Pune to Singapore making it the first airline to do so. Owing to the going traffic to Singapore the company has also added a 3rd daily frequency from both its hubs, Mumbai and Delhi to Singapore.

On the international network from Delhi, Jet Airways has added an additional third service between Delhi and Bangkok and a fourth frequency on the Delhi – Kathmandu route to meet the growing demand from travelers.

Jet Airways has also introduced a second frequency to Doha from Delhi and Mumbai. The airline has added a 7th new daily frequency between Mumbai and Dubai.

On the domestic front, effective 5th December, Jet Airways will introduce a fourth frequency between Delhi and Amritsar, and a direct daily service connecting Mumbai to the Holy city.

The cash-strapped airline has recently said that it will no more offer complimentary meals for economy class passengers traveling on domestic routes under two more fare categories. The carrier currently offers five fare options in the economy class - light, deal, saver, classic and flex - for customers booking flights on domestic routes. The latest revision in complimentary meals would be available only for economy passengers who booked their tickets under the flex option, the release said.
