New Delhi: State-run Coal India on Saturday said it has completed buyback of equity shares worth Rs 3,650 crore.
The buyback, which opened on October 3, closed on October 18 and the total number of shares brought back was 10.89 crore at a price of Rs 335 per share.
"The total amount utilised in the buyback of equity share is Rs 3,650 crore...," Coal India said in a BSE filing.
Pursuant to the buyback, the promoter holding in Coal India stands at 79.78 percent.
