WhatsApp calling now available for Windows Phone

WhatsApp voice calling feature lets you place calls over the Internet to your contacts within the messaging app.

New Delhi: After debuting it on Android, BlackBerry and iOS WhatsApp has finally rolled out its calling feature for Windows phone.

WhatsApp updated its Windows Phone app on Tuesday and is available on its updated app (version 2.12.60.0). The updated app also lets you send audio files if you are running the Windows Phone 8.1 or above version.

WhatsApp voice calling feature lets you place calls over the Internet to your contacts within the messaging app.

The WhatsApp Windows Phone app also brings new features such as sending audio files (which is currently available on Windows Phone 8.1) apart from the VoIP-based voice calling feature.
