TCS partners iRise to widen VaaS offering

Country's largest software exporter TCS Monday said it has partnered with iRise, an enterprise visualisation and simulation company, to launch business process innovation, simulation and visualisation as a service (VaaS).

Mumbai: Country's largest software exporter TCS Monday said it has partnered with iRise, an enterprise visualisation and simulation company, to launch business process innovation, simulation and visualisation as a service (VaaS).

This will help enterprises achieve business agility through integration of rapid simulation and visualisation capability into TCS' already established software development processes, it said in a statement.

Company's global head of alliances and technology unit, Raman Venkatraman said: "This partnership can help in critical initiatives like business analytics, big data, connected network and real time intelligence."

Customers can collaborate globally on application design, user scenarios and specifications that drive development of business requirements, the statement said.

The Tata Group company's global business solutions lab is also creating process innovation through a new visualisation centre for excellence, which will provide inter-operable platforms on a private cloud for driving faster adoption of niche technologies and innovation with technology interoperability, across various industries.
