Specs that let you stream video on Facebook

ZionEyez has introduced a pair of glasses that can record what the user sees through his eyes and then upload it via a Bluetooth connection on FB in real-time.

London: US based social media company ZionEyez has introduced a pair of £92 glasses that can record what the user sees through his eyes and then upload it via a Bluetooth connection on Facebook in real-time.

The frames of the glasses are fitted with a camera so small and located where the right arm joins the main frame, that it is impossible to detect that filming is going on.

With a battery back up of three hours, they provide sufficient time to record activities and events before the user has to stop and recharge. There is an 8GB memory card and a USB port for charging and downloading images onto the computer.

The glasses have 100 pc UVA/UVB and tinted lenses and can be replaced with prescription lenses whenever required.

ZionEyez has claimed that its product is a major advancement because “many recorded video streams are short, largely because it is uncomfortable for users to continuously hold their cameras up for longer than a few minutes”.

“Imagine yourself recording exactly what your "Eyez" see, whether it be worldly travels or a college lecture, no memorable event will be lost,” the Daily Mail quoted the company as saying.

“No other product in existence can deliver you such a first person video recording experience,” the company added.
